The Brain

This is a game I learned from the world of improv comedy. It requires quick thought and a loose mind, which is why kids are sometimes better at it than parents. All players are one "Brain." They talk as if they are one brain, taking turns saying the next word in the lecture. First, players must agree on a topic that this "brain" is an expert in. For instance, lets say the brain is the foremost authority on bananas and is giving a lecture on bananas. The game may begin like this:

Player 1: "I"
Player 2: "am"
Player 3: "an"
Player 4: "expert"
Player 1: "on"
Player 2: "bananas."
Player 3: "I"
Player 4: "have"
Player 1: "much"
Player 2: "interest"
Player 3: "and"
Player 4: "dentures."

Player four made a quick decision to say something off the wall which is great because as long as it is grammatically correct, it usually works. Continue like this, and don't worry too much about staying on topic. It's just a starting point. The main thing is don't think, move quickly, keep your mind flowing and don't think! Be silly. This topic could continue something like this . . . "Teeth are brushed without bananas however toothpaste has a taste that is bizarre. Sometimes bananas are wet like fish . . . " Whatever!
